We can meet all your landscaping maintenance needs. Your lawn area is continually maintained through mowing, seeding, chemical treatments, custom fertilizers and other applications. Beds are weeded, edged, and treated. Plants and shrubs are sheared and trimmed as required, and fertilizer and chemical applications are used as needed to maintain the health of all your plantings. In addition, hard surfaces are edged and blown off and debris removal occurs monthly, all to insure that your landscape continues to look spectacular!
Maintenance Work to Be Performed
- Visits to property will be throughout the year - contracted at ** visits. (51 and 42 visits available, other options can be discussed)
- Edging of all sidewalks, curbs and other paved areas will be performed during the regular mowing process.
- Edging of all plant beds will be performed during the regular mowing process.
- Line trimming all areas inaccessible by mowers will be done following each mowing to create a well-groomed appearance.
- Weeding of all plant and shrub beds will be performed by-weekly by means of mechanical or chemical control to maintain a neat and proper appearance. Note: This does not apply to beds that are vacant of a mulching medium or in need of new or more mulch.
- The mowing, edging and line trimming will be performed 42 times a year (approximately every week in summer mid-March/April, mid-November and every other week in winter mid-November - March/April).
- Mowing height of turf areas will be maintained between 2.5 and 4.0 inches to create an even and well-groomed appearance. Clippings will be removed from turf area only when necessary to maintain a neat appearance. Note: Clippings are beneficial in terms of nutrient replacement and water holding capacity as well as weed suppression in the turf area.
- The pruning and care of the shrubs will be maintained as often as needed to create an appealing, well-groomed appearance throughout the year and to prevent plant materials from growing out, onto, or over sidewalks and roadways.
- Maintenance of large trees will be limited to maintaining a 6 - 7 foot umbrella under trees when they are located in the greens area and will be trimmed to allow safe and easy transportation around roadways (maximum height 10 feet from ground). The contractor is not responsible for the pruning of any tree above the height of 10 feet in terms of shaping and or limb removal during regular maintenance. An additional charge will be assessed. If tree canopies require extensive pruning initially, there may be an initial pruning charge. Contractor will not be liable for pool screen damage caused by falling palm fronds if palm base is located within six (6) feet of pool screen base. No green palm fronds shall be removed. No trees under utility lines will be pruned. **Crepe Myrtles are not trimming, can be done upon request at an additional charge.
- All paved areas, including sidewalks, roads/drives, patios, etc. shall be cleared of clippings, dirt and any other debris that may be deposited by the activities or functions of the contractor during each visit.
- The owner will be notified of potential irrigation problems by visual observations at time of visit. Manual irrigation system inspections are optional.
- The contractor is not held responsible for turf, shrub, or trees damaged by acts of God, vandalism, theft, acts of negligence of others, or irrigation design and/or deficiencies.
- The contractor will not be responsible for removal of dead or dying trees and shrub material caused by damaging frost. Note: This does not pertain to the normal pruning of the shrubs.
- The contractor will not be responsible for excessive storm damage and debris created by such. Clean up will be billed separately.
- The contractor will not be responsible for blowing large parking lot areas of debris unrelated to the activities or functions of the contractor, unless initially agreed upon by contractor and owner.
- The contractor will not be held liable for damage to any item hidden in the landscape and not clearly guarded or marked such as, but not limited to, improperly installed irrigation components, cables installed at improper depth or any items such as, but not limited to, hoses, cables, toys, etc.
- In the event Maintain Landscaping, Inc. damages any of the owner’s irrigation system during a regularly scheduled maintenance visit, we will do the repairs. Maintain Landscaping, Inc. will not pay for any repairs the owner has done by an outside company, regardless of type of damage and/or circumstances.
- Any disputes, discrepancies, misconceptions, or any other problems that may arise evolving around the contractors weekly maintenance activities, will be handled between the owner and contractor.
